Sophia McKinnon Counselling

McKinnon counselling was set up by Sophia McKinnon, who has a wealth of experience, knowledge and academic qualifications. Sophia has been helping people with many different issues for many years. 

 

Sophia McKinnon - M.Sc (RMN P.G.Dip Forensic Sexology, Dip CBT) is an accomplished and accredited professional Counsellor and Psychotherapist, trained by Relate. Sophia has been counselling for 20 years and a therapist for the last 7 years. She is an affiliated counsellor for BUPA.

 

Some of hers many accomplishments and accreditations include being a Registered Counsellor with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP) and also being an Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the British Association of Sexual and Relationship Therapists.

 

Along with counselling Sophia is also trained as a psychiatric nurse with a vast amount of clinical experience many different nursing areas.

Sophia specialises in helping individuals and couples with problems including Relationship and sexual issues to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

 

Sophia also works with workplace problems and also with general practitioners in accepting their referrals.
